Prayer Meeting August 12th in the Sanctuary
Dear Loved Ones,
I pray that you all are well and healthy. This has certainly been one of the most frustrating and peculiar times we have all faced.
Rest assured our church Elders and Staff are praying for you all and asking God to walk with you during these trying times.
I would like to invite you all to a prayer time, next Wednesday evening, August 12, in our Sanctuary 7:00 – 8:00 PM.
Masks will be optional for this meeting. We will be praying again for our world, country, community and church.
I know that these difficult times are stirring up many emotions within each of you. You are not going crazy. These feelings are normal for people in the middle of such crisis. Please do reach out to one another and give a call to someone to encourage them this week.
Jesus has promised never to leave or forsake us. God is in charge. And He is with us. You can lean on Him. Ask Him to use this time to draw you closer in your walk with Him. Find the area of your character that God is shaping through this time of uncertainty. Embrace the Transformation. Let His Kingdom come, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Grace and Peace to you All!
Pastor Ron

Changes to In Person Services 06/21
Dear Loved Ones,
After evaluating our re-opening service this past Sunday, our Elders have decided to change how we are conducting services. Beginning this Sunday, June 21 those attending The Well Church will have three options:
Option 1
Attendance in the main Sanctuary will be mask-optional. You may wear a mask if you’d like, but you may attend without a mask as well. Children may attend with their parents in the Sanctuary. Please arrive early to ensure seating (Church begins promptly at 8:30 and 10:15 AM.) There is limited seating available, and if there is any overflow you will need to attend in the fellowship hall, with a mask.
Option 2
Attendance in the fellowship hall will be open to all adults, but masks will be required to protect those who are at higher risk.
Option 3
For options 1 and 2 above, we will still be taking temperatures at the door, and we encourage everyone to use the hand sanitizer stations available at the entrances.
The picnic tables will be available for sitting between services, and we strongly encourage folks to minimize physical contact and maintain social distance with others. The playground will continue to be closed for the time being.
We understand this is not a perfect solution. We are trying to monitor the situation and move forward with wisdom, prudence and concern for the physical, social and spiritual well-being of All.
If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact me, at pastorron@thewellyucaipa.com.
Blessings to you all,
Pastor Ron

Welcome Home, It will be nice to be together this Sunday
Dear Loved Ones,
I am so excited to be able to meet with you all face to face this Sunday.
I just want to give you some info to make our Sunday morning as smooth as possible. Here are some things that will help this to be a positive experience for you and your family.
The Elders have been spending much prayer time seeking God about this and we are in agreement this is our best possible course.
We are asking everyone to please wear masks. I understand they are uncomfortable, and there are many views regarding their efficacy. Please understand, you are not wearing the masks for your protection. You are wearing them for the protection of others who may be immuno-compromised. This is a time to serve others and to show consideration for them. If you have a different viewpoint, I understand that, but want you to know we have prayerfully considered this, and it is our belief that this will be the most prudent course to follow.
We will have 2 services, one at 8:30 and one at 10:15. Our normal times. We have room for 97 people in the Sanctuary, and we have room for 48 people in the Fellowship Hall at each service. (290 Total) The Fellowship Hall will be reserved for our Seniors over 65 who would like a little more security or those with a compromised immune system. We are asking for our families with children to please sit together in the Sanctuary. There will be no children’s ministry until the next school year begins. We will then begin Sunday School and mid-week programs. The outdoor playground will be closed for the time being. Our small groups will begin to meet again at the normal times, the week after Labor Day in September.
Please come a little early to service. We will be taking each person’s temperature with a touchless scanner, have hand sanitizer available, and we will have masks available if you forgot to bring your own personal one. We also ask that if you have a fever, sore throat or runny nose, please stay home until you are symptom free.
Dear Friends, I understand that no one like these restrictions. We are committed to removing the restrictions as soon as possible. No one misses the hugs and handshake more than I do, but please let’s respect a little space for now and hold back for a time.
Please remember these restrictions are temporary and are designed to keep our church as safe as possible. I am looking forward to getting back to normal as soon as possible.
Not the “New Normal.” Normal, normal.
I miss you all dearly, and I am looking forward to seeing you Sunday.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Ron

A Message from Pastor Ron
Dear Loved Ones,
I pray that you all are healthy and well. This Sunday will be our third Live-Streamed service. Our team is working very hard to bring you a Worship Service that will lift up God and will bless your heart!
We have been working diligently to make sure our graphics are legible and not covering over everyone’s faces! We hear you and ask that you bear with us as we strive to make those changes that are necessary for a quality. Believe it or not, 4 weeks ago no one on our staff was a TV production specialist!
I’m excited to speak Sunday about how God’s Truth will keep us from Fear! Please know that things are happening in ministry while we cannot meet together. After three months of planning, we have added a new staff member. Isaiah Price will be joining us as our new Youth Pastor. Tune in our Live-Stream service Sunday to meet Him!
Pastor PJ is taking on a new responsibility as our Pastor of Communications and will also be working with Brandon Rose to begin a ministry to College and Career young adults.
We are currently working to get our Small Groups up and running on a video-based format as well. Pastor Marcus has most of our groups up and running and is working on getting the rest online soon.
Laura has provided an on-line presence for our children’s ministry as well.
I want to personally thank those of you who have continued to support the Ministry of The Well Church with your gifts in the past few weeks. Your gifts make all this possible. We have actually had over 1,000 people engage with our online services on YouTube and Facebook live.
We are all facing new challenges we never even imagined two months ago. We have two promises (actually more) that we can cling to in these tough times. Jesus said He’d never leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and that “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes focused on God! His eyes are on you, too!
We’ll get through this, and God will continue to grow His Kingdom!
Trusting Him,
Pastor Ron

Message from Pastor Ron
Dear Loved Ones,
I have been thinking of you and praying for you! My prayer is that you will be filled with the consolation of Christ and His Spirit, which lives in you, will give you comfort and rest during this time.
If I might make a suggestion, since we have a little more time on our hands, spend a little reading from the Gospels this week. Look at how Jesus went about accomplishing his mission. Not in a hurry. Taking time to connect with people (we may need to make a phone call or an email). Spending time with His father. Resting in His Father’s love, during uncertain and tumultuous time. God has this time in his hands. We can trust that during our quarantined situation He is present. He loves you and will see you through this. This is only temporary. Psalm 30:5 tells us that “weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” Keep your eyes on God. Easter is coming.
In the meantime, please join with us together on The Well Online, Sunday Mornings at 10AM. Just go to www.thewellyucaipa.com and click on the link on the second banner on our homepage, to watch the sermon and worship live-streamed right to your computer or device. If you miss that, you can watch an edited version on YouTube on our channel there, at The Well Church Yucaipa.
Some of you have asked how you can continue your regular giving at The Well. You can give at our Website (see link above) and, of course, you can mail in your tithes and offerings to The Well Church 12717 14th St. Yucaipa, CA 92399.
I’m looking forward to meeting together in person, as soon as possible.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Ron
